Do we still want it?

Ok 2013! You are here!

How did we do with the first day of the rest of our year?

Break the habit. Change the momentum. Change your life. Now.

If your new years resolution has already bitten the dust, it might be time to examine what it is you really want, and if you really want it but cant seem to get behind it, then what would be a resolution that would be at least a step closer to your ultimate?

If I can't seem to break every habit i have all at once, pick a habit that you know is breakable. The breaking of that habit will give you some "habit breakin' chops," ultimately training you for the next one. Keep layering and at some point you will have developed the stamina to go for the big one.

So your new years resolution might ultimately be to exercise 30 minutes everyday, so maybe you start out with 5. When 5 gets easy, do 7 or 10, knowing you can always go back to 5. At least you know you can always get your 5 in. At some point, 5 will have naturally bloomed into more, and eventually you will be at your goal. And if you stick with the do-able 5 minutes a day, I'll bet that by the end of 2013 you'll be at 30.

Do what's do-able. That helps train us so more things are more do-able.

yes we can!
